About Us

Prior to exploring a career in Photography, Jessica Grieves spent years in the technology field in a variety of positions including web developer, trainer, and project management.  In 2007 she started her photography business Bubblegum Tree Photography which operates in the Houston TX and Katy TX area.

As more moms purchased digital SLR cameras, Jessica was getting more and more requests from moms looking for help learning how to use their new cameras.  Sitting down with a focus group of moms looking to learn, she developed the original outline for what is now our Beginner’s Photography Class.  Over the years the class has been updated to reflect current trends and needs of today’s moms. 

With 5 years of professional photography experience, Jessica is well versed in the technical aspect of photography.  Her high energy outlook and passion for photos makes the class fun even when we are covering the most technical aspects.  Jessica uses Canon cameras for her photography business but teaches the class in a non-brand specific way so any DSLR owner can benefit – we’ve even had a few moms with little point and shoots take the class and learn more before investing in a camera and lenses.
